I, Robyn Pevensie, have a wee story for you all of my current situation, so day of Halloween π
I was moving rubbish from my garden as obviously, not a good look when you have trick or treaters coming.
I accidentally found two common newts π¦. I panicked thinking oh no i've disturbed their hibernation what am i gonna do!?
I will add, these two thought a peice of soggy lino was a good place to hibernate.π€¦
Now, newts need to be well sheltered during winter as frost for them, is a killer, so they would have died if I hadn't accidentally found them.π
I rung my vet asking what to do and three different vets later I got answers, so in the end the best option was to keep them inside and feed them till spring time, when they can be released. πΎπ¦π±
It's a nice adventure having two newts, naming them, working out their genders, cute little things. π π¦π
However today I was removing dead and rotten plant from my garden and found two more!π¦π¦
These two are even more stupid, basically sat in a tree and said yup this will be fine, on top of a mouldy stump, with crispy leaves and rotting roots, in the coldβοΈ completely in view and not a care in the world. One was even on its back exposing its colourful orange belly.π€¦ Very well camouflage?!?πππ€¦π¦
So now I have four of them to look after!!!!! π¦π¦π¦π¦
Apparently and I quote from Google
"Newts are sentient creatures capable of various forms of cognition and learning, which are well-suited to their survival needs"
NOT THESE ONES! ABSOLUTE IDIOTS! MORONS! All four basically just like "yup trashπ will be perfectπ for the next few months". I haven't met a more idiotic animal in my life.π€¦π΅βπ«
Fish are smarter I swear.π
It's a shame they can't star in our pantomime, would fit well since we have a newt prop, upgrade to the real deal π¦ππ
