Did you know❓’Mistero Buffo’ playwright Dario Fo was awarded the Nobel prize for literature in 1997.

Here at Riding Lights, we’re putting on a new production of Dario Fo’s explosive satire in a year which celebrates 100 years since his birth. With ferocious wit and fearless physical storytelling, this production tears into faith, power, profit and hypocrisy by turning ancient Bible stories into urgent, laugh-out-loud theatre with a clear spiritual heart.

EXPERIENCED IN EOS LIGHTING DESKS, DIGITAL SOUND AND QLAB?
WITH A PASSION FOR EXCELLENT LIVE PERFORMANCE?
We are looking for a 'Technical Lead' to head up all technical and production activity at Friargate Theatre in York.

You’ll play a central role in bringing our productions to life — leading technical teams, overseeing equipment, leading on health and safety compliance, and acting as the key technical contact for in-house shows, visiting companies, and venue hires. Whether you’re on the road supporting a touring production or in the building keeping things running smoothly, you’ll thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where no two days are the same.

Full time / Permanent
Salary - £30,000
