After months of doing nothing but running a pub quiz every Thursday in the rural wool land of the Wirral, I am finally doing something I'm excited about.

Basically, after years of apologies for getting barred, barred and barred again; and begging, to move my sh*te there, my mental, little shows are coming to the broom cupboard of literally the biggest comedy club in the world, and the best warehouse in Vauxhall, at Hot Water Comedy Club in Blackstock Market Liverpool.

We have a stellar lineup of, Adam Rohan, Jamie Bush, Joey Bridgens-Hart, Charlie Ashton, Stephen Catling and Tony Carroll.

Friday, November 1st 8pm.

Tickets are £7 and are available from the Hot Water website.

Please come, it would be embarrassing if I sold like 3.

VUDU COMEDY// RED REDMOND AND JIM BAYES// 20th MAY

Headliner Red Redmond, MC Jim Bayes and support from up-and-coming talent on the circuit, including Richard Massara, Tom Taylor, Charlie Hopkinson, Steff Cook, Micky P Kerr, Chris Copestake, Kevin Berry, and the rotund Mike Carter.

This week Vudu Comedy returns to Vudu Lounge, with some of the best acts on the circuit.

Red Redmond is a Stand-up Comedian, Comedy Promoter and weapons-grade non-binary quendo based in Manchester. Performing since 2008, Red has established themself as one of the UK’s favourite compéres (“the most likeable compére on the circuit” –Wow247). Red also performs as their alter-ego Scarlet Sohandsome who is widely regarded as one of UK’s finest Drag Comedians.

JIM BAYES

Jim Studied drama as one of his GCSE options at Allerton high school in Leeds because he thought it would be the easy option. It was there that he picked up the performing bug and went on to take a GNVQ in drama and performance at Airdale and Wharfedale college leaving with a merit in 1999 he opted to take job over going to uni and spent the next 10 years working as a pub chef and bar manager.

During that time the urge to perform was still there and Jim took part in several amateur productions and 3 professional pantos between 2003 and 2008.

Jim also hosted the comedy show at his pub and was the DJ there until taking up stand up in 2011

Jim took to stand up quickly and racked up over 100 gigs in his 1st year going on to paid work very quickly and regular repeat paid work by 2013.

In 2015 he returned to acting with a sitcom pilot and a student short film to get a taste for screen acting.

Jim returned to the classroom in 2016 1st with Northern Star and then NFD and also appeared in award winning short LGBT film This world we Live in and a small role in feature Cain Hill.
