Thor’s York, you were an absolute pleasure! ❤️🎶

Always one of the highlights of our year coming back to play in the centre of York, even if the weather forecast seems determined to stress us out every single time 😂🌧️

We were supposed to play 3:30–5:30 with a break… instead we forgot about the break entirely, carried on playing, and somehow ended up doing an extra 45 minutes on top 😂

2 hours and 45 minutes non-stop, and honestly, an absolute pleasure from start to finish!

Thank you to everyone who came down, stuck around, threw requests at us, danced, sang along and generally made it such a brilliant afternoon. ❤️

And somehow our luck with the weather held out too… the rain started about 10 minutes after our last song! Couldn’t have timed it much better.

Huge thanks to Thor’s for having The Mixtapes back again this year and for continuing to support live music.

MIXTAPES FROM THE VAULTS!

Throwing it back to 2019, and we found ourselves down in the Cotswolds for what turned out to be a rather glitzy party! As the night drew in, the party moved inside and Dave was left to pack down the gear in the dark whilst Dan and James entertained the hoardes with a singalong around the Grand Piano in the house! A great night was had by all, even Dave who was kept refreshed by the rather excellent Gin Bar just behind where we were playing...

Well! What a wedding it was at Hackness on Saturday! We had an absolute blast! Lucy and Dave brought the party and we had an awesome time! Loads of singing, and loads of dancing, thank you so much you lovely lot! ♥️

We're back! It's been a hot minute since we were last on stage together, but James, Stefan, and Dave are looking forward to bringing the noise at Hackness Grange this evening for a fantastic wedding!

Then it's only a few days until we play again! This time we're in Leeds from 5:30pm on Thursday! Find us in THOR'S tipi opposite the Queens Hotel! It's always a fun one!

We follow this up with two weddings over next weekend, we make our first trip to The Walled Gardens in Helperby followed by another wedding back at Hackness Grange on the Sunday!

Yesterday we returned to one of our favourite venues, Grand Villa Heights in Ravenscar for the beautiful wedding of Neil and Helen!

It was a foggy start, but the seafret cleared and we were treated to the very best sunset! 😍

We had an incredible time playing for Connor and Char at Sedgewell Barn near Northallerton on Saturday, and couldn’t have asked for a better evening! A delightful party with a lovely couple! Thanks for having us!

Well! Bank Holiday is done! A wonderful three gigs for us this weekend and every one was a cracker!

We started up in Ravenscar with Jack’s 18th party on Friday, and had an absolute blast! Thanks to everyone there for dancing with us throughout the evening, there were also some excellent guest vocalists!

Saturday saw us take on a very special task, to provide the music for one of our Mixtapes family James, as he celebrated his marriage to Dani down at Cave Castle near Hull. A great night was had by everyone, and I don’t think the final song request of “Killing in the Name of” has got us cancelled on the wedding circuit yet!

We rounded up our weekend yesterday with the wedding of Kirsty and Steve at one of our most regular venues, Stepney Hill Farm in Scarborough. We provided music throughout the day and night, and had an absolute blast!

Today, we’re resting, before we hit another favourite venue of ours, The Norman’s near York where we are playing for the wedding of Suzy and Paul!

Afternoon everyone! This is a shameless plug for you all to get down to Judson's in Pocklington on 21st March! Our OG bassist, and sometimes front man James is performing a shed load of bangers with Dani!
James and Dani have performed all over the world on top cruise ships and now they're back on dry land, are bringing their musical goodness to YO42! The music kicks off at 9pm so make sure you come down for a great night!
