🌈 JUST 7 WEEKS TO GO! 🎭✨

In just seven weeks, our friends at York Stage will take to the Grand Opera House York with Everybody’s Talking About Jamie! 💖👠

We got a little preview on the York Pride Main Stage earlier this year, when members of the cast performed some of the show’s biggest numbers — having only rehearsed them a handful of times before Pride! 🤯

And they were absolutely FANTASTIC! 🌟

If that performance was anything to go by, we’re in for another ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ production from York Stage.

🌈 Remembering Tim Curry 🖤

We’re saddened to hear of the passing of the legendary Tim Curry, aged 80.

For generations of LGBTQ+ people, Tim’s unforgettable performance as Dr. Frank-N-Furter in The Rocky Horror Picture Show was more than just an iconic film role.

Bold, unapologetic, camp and gloriously unconventional, Frank-N-Furter became a lasting part of q***r popular culture and helped generations of people celebrate being different.

Tim leaves behind an extraordinary legacy across stage and screen – but there will always be a very special place for him in the hearts of the LGBTQ+ community.

“Don’t dream it. Be it.” 🌈

Rest in peace, Tim Curry. 🖤

An icon, an ally and a true legend.

Dolly’s music brought joy to generations, but beyond the rhinestones and incredible songs was someone who consistently showed kindness, compassion and support for the LGBTQ+ community.

Today the world feels a little less colourful.

We will always love you, Dolly. 💖🌈

Over the years, they've both become a huge part of York Pride - entertaining our crowds, taking to our stages and keeping everything running as fabulous hosts. From brilliant performances to plenty of laughs (and probably a few moments we couldn't possibly repeat in public 👀😂), they've given us so many amazing Pride memories.

We're incredibly grateful for all the love, energy and support they've given York Pride over the years. ❤️
