York Lindy Swing dancing in York. Beginners swing dance lessons. Every Thursday at 7:30 pm, Belfrey Hall in York. Complete beginners welcome. No partner required. Tickets £8.

Concession tickets £6 (for students, pensioners and those with financial difficulties). We are a not-for-profit organisation passionate about sharing the fun and energy of jazz dances from 1920s, 30s and 40s. Don’t worry if you’ve never danced before, classes are suitable for absolute beginners and we’ll introduce something new each week. Classes are run on a volunteer basis and all money raised gets invested back into providing opportunities to learn and social dance and might include booking live bands, venues and planning workshops with teachers from other areas.
