Castle Howard Summer Sounds Castle Howard Proms Spectacular is returning this August with a very special line-up to celebrate its 25th anniversary. Early bird discounts are available.

Back by popular request, the concert will feature popular classics, film themes as well as flag waving favourites associated with ‘The Last Night Of The Proms’. Jae Alexander, famed for his work with West End musicals, will also be returning (himself celebrating his 15th Proms at Castle Howard) alongside some very special guests, many of whom will be announced over the coming weeks. The concert wi

ll kick off in dramatic fashion with an original World War Two Spitfire performing aerial acrobatics over the audience as the UK Philharmonic Orchestra performs some of the best-loved music in the world including Walton’s Spitfire Prelude and the Dambusters Theme. The event will end in a truly celebratory fashion with Rule Britannia and Land Of Hope & Glory played alongside a specially choreographed pyrotechnics show which will light up the night sky over Castle Howard. David Stubley, of Lighthouse Events, commented “Over the past 25 years, the Proms Spectacular has built a strong and loyal audience and it’s our aim, to provide the audience with a premium experience. We have kept the audience experience at the forefront of our minds, ensuring there will be easy access, plenty of car parking for guests as well as a large range of quality food and drink stalls to suit everyone’s needs.For anyone who hasn’t experienced the Proms Spectacular I would urge them to join us this year as it will be a truly special night.
