Sam Carter playing Nic Jones going down a storm and we present this one The Crescent Community Venue on Sunday Sept 27.

It would've made my year just to have played my Sam Carter Sings Nic Jones show to a packed Manor Pavilion crowd. But the fact that last night I got to do just that with the man himself in the audience makes that one of the gigs I'll remember forever.

Towards the end of the show we got the house lights up and took the opportunity to show our appreciation to Nic for his incredible contribution to folk music. Video to come!

And if THAT wasn't enough, another folk legend, the lovely Martin Simpson dropped in too!

The stuff of dreams.

Thank you so much to each and every one you for coming out, and to Tash and the The Sidmouth Folk Festival team for having me and helping make this such a special gig.
