😤 Weather forecast frustration!

BBC what are you doing with your weather forecasts for this Bank Holiday weekend!
Take bank holiday Monday 31st for example…
🌧️ BBC - a dark cloud and rain symbol
⛅️ Met Office - sunny intervals
☀️ Apple weather app - predicting 1mm of rain all day and that is at 1am in the morning!

York Maze is a fun day out whatever the weather with lots of attractions and all our catering outlets indoors or under cover. But what frustrates us most is when the forecast (especially the BBC) is overly pessimistic, and the weather is actually mostly fine!

This message sent to us yesterday sums it up perfectly…
“It’s been the best day EVER! Again. Thank you so much, the enthusiastic, friendly staff really make it. So glad I read on your socials to not let the weather forecast put us off. Came today it said 95% rain and we hardly noticed any. Thank you x”

With only 4 days left until we close for another year, don’t miss out and let the miserable weather forecasters stop you have an amazing day out! 🌽 😃
