Join ‘Singphonia’ for an evening celebrating the rich and diverse legacy of British music in our concert ‘Keep Calm and Sing On’. It’s taking place on Sunday, 19th April and is a fundraiser for the Joseph Rowntree Theatre where it will begin at 7.00 p.m.
The concert will span 126 years of British music from timeless classics to comedy songs and contemporary favourites with something for everyone-demonstrating the huge influence British artists, composers and groups have had across the globe.
Solos, duets and concerted numbers with an on stage band will include songs from Gilbert and Sullivan, The Beatles, Lloyd -Webber, Queen, Cilla Black, Victoria Wood, Cliff Richard, Tom Jones and Westlife to name but a few!

Thank you to everyone who came to ‘Harvest Harmonies’, our combined concert with the amazing York Concert Band. We had a lovely evening with a large and appreciative audience. Special thanks to our extra singers, John, Gill, Sue, Janet and Barbara and Jez our sound technician! 😊

If you’d like to hear a FABULOUS wind band (brass, woodwind and percussion) with 50+ members and a close harmony vocal group, performing a super programme of varied pieces then please come to The Citadel, Giilygate on Saturday this week. Tickets available in advance or on the door. Should be a very enjoyable evening; it will certainly get your feet tapping ! Starts at 7.30pm.
Adults £10, children £5. We’d love to see you there. 🎶
