Tuneless Choir - North York Moors

Thanks everyone who joined us last night! Bit of a miscount on the raffle - but we still raided £244 for Scarborough, Whitby and Ryedale Mind!

That was the end of term, so you’ll get chance to sign up for the next 6 sessions in our Spring Term for £42, by bank transfer (details will be in the next email) or card / cash at our next session on 1st April. Worth signing up if you’ll miss one, but not two, of the following:
- 1st and 15th April
- 6th and 20th May
- 3rd and 17th June

Plans so far:
1st April - April Fools - songs contained the word “fool” - there are a surprising number!
15th April - Musicals - from The Jungle Book to Grease, we’ll have a tonne (because they tend to be short) of dramatic, singable numbers!

Sorry we’ve had no time over the Tuneless Choir weekend in York to share stuff with you! It’s all over on the Tuneless Choirs page. Here are our choir members as Wonky Flappers… but oops we may have suffered from a vowel movement!
Many thanks to members of the choir who assisted with the setting up for this party - Serena, Carol and Cheryl inflated many, many balloons, and Janet was the raffle-maestro on a bigger scale!
PS you’ll see folks who have visited us to lead on the other photos - Bernie with hubby Andy, Lisa (who took most of the photos) and maybe Matt - he was drumming and singing in the band.

HAPPY NEW YEAR US! Wishing you all the very best for 2026.

Looking forward to seeing you on Wed 7th Jan - we’ll be in touch on Saturday with more details. It will comprise the songs from the first ever Tuneless session which was on 14th January 2016, so ten years ago. They’ve stood the test of time, including many of our favourites. Double Grease, double Beatles, double ABBA. The start of the shenanigans!
