We’ve been bursting to tell you all, and the news is finally out! We are so excited to become Pocklington Arts Centre first Associate company! We launched our first ever youth project in Pocklington and it feels like such a natural fit. We are excited to see what comes next! 💚✨

🎉 We're thrilled to announce that Thunk-It Theatre has become Pocklington Arts Centre's first Associate Company.

This exciting partnership builds on years of collaboration and a shared commitment to making the arts accessible to everyone, while bringing communities together through creativity.

We can't wait to see what this next chapter brings!

Do you like to get creative? Join us for 3 days of creating short plays. Attend one, two or three days! For young people aged 6-16 year olds
Parents are encouraged to stay onsite and enjoy a FREE drink from the cafe.

Go Amelia! ✨

Amelia is one of our AMAZING young volunteers at Tadcaster Barn Youth Theatre and has just received her Power of 10 certificate for 10 hours of volunteering with us!

The young people at the fabulous Tadcaster Barn are always leaving us in total awe at their dedication, creativity and kindness and Amelia is no exception!

She has been the best role model for the Youth Theatre to look up to and has thrown herself into every session she supports! We could not be prouder! 💚

CALLING EAST RIDING FAMILIES! 😁

We are launching a series of one off drop in creative sessions at Pocklington Arts Centre this summer thanks to funding from the from Positive, Activities, Inclusive Grant by the East Riding of Yorkshire Council.

Drama, games, crafts, playfulness, joy, each session has a different theme!

Sessions are FREE and for SEND Young people ages 6-16 year old.

Parents and caregivers can stay onsite during the sessions with a designated refreshments area.

Sessions:
Tuesday 28th July – 1pm – 2:30pm
Friday 31st July – 10am – 11:30am
Tuesdays 4th August – 1pm – 2:30pm
Friday 7th August – 10am – 11:30am
Tuesday 11th August – 1pm – 2:30pm
Friday 14th August - 10am-11:30am

Tadcaster’s Tales of Curiosity 💛

What an incredible performance from our Tadcaster Barn Youth Theatre!

Inspired by the theme of curiosity, our young people brought three original stories to life through performance, storytelling, and shadow puppetry:

🚀 Stuck in Space
🧙 The Curious Colours & The Mystical Wizard

As always, we’re amazed by their talent, but we’re even more impressed by the kindness, encouragement, and support they show one another every week. Watching them cheer each other on is just as special as watching them perform.

A huge well done to every young person involved - you are brilliant! 💛
