We can finally reveal our fabulous cast for Deadly Nightcap. Thank you to those who responded to the actor call out. Rehearsals begin this Sunday 🎭

WE NEED ONE MORE ACTOR (MALE OR FEMALE)!

Unfortunately one of our cast members has had to withdraw. We are due to start rehearsals this month.

The character is a doctor, a relatively small/medium sized role. Can be any gender and any adult age.

We welcome anyone regardless of experience.

We rehearse Sunday and Monday evenings but some flexibility with evenings you can commit to. Production week runs 25th October - 1st November with performances 30th October - 1st November.

All welcome to come along to our play read of The Whitby Rebels, Monday 22nd June, 7:30pm, Escrick Village Hall.

Based on a mostly true story…

In Whitby Harbour, in the summer of 1991, something extraordinary happened. A humble pleasure boat set sail for the Arctic, crewed by misfits, pensioners and the vicar for Egton and Grosmont.

This motley crew was assembled for a daring mission: to erect a plaque honouring the legendary Whitby whaler and explorer Captain William Scoresby Senior on a volcanic island hundreds of miles north of Iceland. The boat was illegal, the crew untrained and the plan... unhinged.
