We are deeply saddened to say that Jim Esson passed away peacefully on 5th August. Jim joined the Social Club in 1967 and was Club President for 20 years from March 1986 to February 2006.
Our sincere condolences go out to Jim’s wife, Judy, and all his family and friends.
Jim and Judy would have been married 60 years on 1st October this year.

At Jim’s request there will be no funeral.

Rest in peace Jim, your fight is over. You will be deeply missed 💔 xx

We are deeply saddened to say that Neville Johnson (Nev) passed away recently. Nev was born in Bishopthorpe and was a long standing member of the Club and Captain of our Dominoes team for many years. Our sincere condolences go out to his family.

Nev’s funeral is on Tuesday 18th August at 1.40pm at York Crematorium and then afterwards at Bishopthorpe Sports and Social Club.

RIP Champ, you will be missed 🏆 x
