Do you remember Gerald the Cat? Gerald and Donald were two beautiful brothers who made York Minster and the surrounding areas very much their manor.

Unfortunately, Gerald died several years ago, but Donald is still going strong.

We usually have a statue of Gerald in the churchyard, but you may have noticed that he is missing at present. The statue will be back soon (and proudly part of the York Cat Trail). Leaflets for the trail are available at our volunteer station and take you all over York.
