Yesterday, ๐๐ค๐ค๐๐ฎ & ๐ฝ๐ช๐ฏ๐ฏ made a very special surprise visit to ๐๐๐๐๐ก๐๐จ๐ฉ๐ค๐ฌ๐ฃ, ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ก๐, to help ๐๐๐ก๐๐๐ง๐๐ฉ๐ ๐ก๐๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ก๐ ๐๐ค๐ฃ๐ฃ๐๐โ๐จ 2๐ฃ๐ ๐ฝ๐๐ง๐ฉ๐๐๐๐ฎ! ๐๐
But this party had a little bit of an unexpected twistโฆ ๐ฅน
Unfortunately, our performer playing Buzz suddenly became very unwell during the party and had to sit out. Thankfully, she is okay, but it left us with a bit of a problem, we absolutely didnโt want Ronnieโs magical Space Ranger experience to come to an end! ๐๐
๐ผ๐ฃ๐ ๐ฉ๐๐๐ฃโฆ ๐๐ผ๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐พ๐๐! ๐ฆธโโ๏ธ๐
Matt was attending the family celebrations and, without hesitation, stepped into action, put on the Buzz Lightyear suit and became our newest Space Ranger for the day! ๐๐
๐๐๐ฉ๐ฉ, ๐ฎ๐ค๐ช ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ฃ ๐๐๐จ๐ค๐ก๐ช๐ฉ๐ ๐จ๐ช๐ฅ๐๐ง๐๐๐ง๐ค! ๐ฅน๐ Thank you for stepping in without any questions asked and helping us keep the magic alive for Ronnie.
And you didnโt just put the suit onโฆ you ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐พ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ฟ! ๐
Matt aka Buzz got stuck into all the games, musical action dances and fun alongside Woody! ๐ถ๐ค ๐

Despite the slightly chaotic start, we ended up having such a lovely time with lots of games, dancing, cuddles and plenty of Toy Story fun! ๐๐
We even managed to get the birthday cake outโฆ although the wind had other ideas about keeping those candles lit! ๐๐๐จ
Weโre also incredibly grateful to the older children who joined in and helped our little Space Ranger Ronnie get involved with the activities. It was so lovely seeing everyone helping to make sure he could enjoy the experience with Woody & Buzz. ๐ฅฐ

We wanted to be open about what happened yesterday.
Unfortunately, performers becoming unwell during an appearance is something that can occasionally happen, and we will always do everything we can to continue the experience safely and make sure the children still have a wonderful time.
Mascot costumes can become extremely hot very quickly, particularly during the summer months. They have limited airflow, and even when we take precautions and monitor our performers carefully, sometimes the heat can simply become too much.
The safety and wellbeing of our performers will always come first, but weโll also always try our very best to find a solution and keep the magic going wherever we can. ๐ฉท
And yesterday, Matt was that solution ๐ฆธโโ๏ธ๐
A huge ๐๐๐ผ๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐ฉ๐ค ๐๐ค๐ฃ๐ฃ๐๐โ๐จ ๐๐๐ข๐๐ก๐ฎ for being so incredibly understanding and amazing throughout what was obviously a difficult and unexpected situation. Your kindness really was appreciated. ๐ฅน๐ฉท
