A little update on today’s meeting… and I think my face afterwards says it all! 🌸😂

I’ve been over at The Flight Club talking flowers, creativity and some rather exciting workshop ideas—including a gorgeous mix of autumn and Halloween. 🍂🎃

There are still a few details to work through before I can tell you everything, but honestly… this could be such a brilliant venue for a Follow Fleurs Forever experience!

I absolutely love meeting businesses that understand what I’m trying to create: something fun, welcoming and a little different, where people can switch off, get creative and leave feeling proud of what they’ve made.

🌸 It’s my birthday! 🌸

Another trip around the sun—and somehow I’m still happiest when I’m surrounded by flowers, covered in bits of foliage and wondering where I put the glue gun I was holding thirty seconds ago. 😂

This past year has brought awards, new workshops, new customers, enormous lessons, a new HQ and opportunities I couldn’t have imagined when Follow Fleurs Forever first began.

It hasn’t all been easy—building something from the ground up rarely is—but I’m incredibly proud that I kept going, kept learning and kept trying my absolute best.

Today I’m taking a moment to appreciate my family, my Fleursters, every person who has attended a workshop or ordered a kit, and everyone who has supported this slightly flower-mad dream.

Now for the important birthday question…

If you were creating my birthday bouquet, which three colours would you choose for me? 🌈🌸

🍂 Something is beginning to bloom behind the scenes… 🍂

The flowers are getting warmer, the textures are becoming richer and the pumpkins have officially escaped from storage!

I’ve been sorting through Follow Fleurs Forever’s Autumn collection and preparing the workshops, kits and seasonal makes that will carry us into cosy-season creativity.

🌸 Twenty-seven teacups. Twenty-seven completely different creations. 🌸

That’s one of my favourite things about delivering a Follow Fleurs Forever workshop.

Everyone begins with similar materials and the same gentle guidance—but every finished piece reflects the person who made it. There’s no pressure to copy, no expectation of perfection and absolutely no such thing as “doing it wrong.”

Friday’s Bloomin’ Teacup workshop at the WIBN Summer Special was full of colour, conversation, laughter and those wonderful little moments when someone steps back, looks at what they’ve created and says, “I actually made that!”

These workshops work beautifully for:

🌿 Sometimes wellbeing doesn’t look like sitting still… 🌿

Yesterday, mine looked like hours at the allotment, pulling potatoes, picking beans and tomatoes, clearing beds and bringing home an enormous harvest.

It looked like turning tomatoes into 12 portions of passata, freezing peppers, cabbage and beans, baking scones, feeding the family—and finally collapsing after a hot shower with a hot chocolate and some wonderfully rubbish television! 😂

It was exhausting, but there’s something incredibly grounding about working with your hands, making use of what your family has grown and knowing that very little has gone to waste.

That same feeling sits at the heart of Follow Fleurs Forever: hands busy, mind calmer, creativity without pressure, and finding value in what we already have.

Wellbeing doesn’t have to look perfect. Sometimes it looks like muddy boots, a full freezer and the best night’s sleep you’ve had in months. 💛

Well… what an absolutely BLOOMIN’ amazing day! 🌸☕️✨

A room full of wonderful women, a beautiful collection of teacups, armfuls of flowers — and every single finished creation completely different. 💐

I won’t lie, I am now officially brain-dead, body-dead and ready to become one with the sofa! 😂 But seeing everyone’s faces as their Bloomin’ Teacups came together made every ounce of effort worthwhile.

That moment when someone steps back, looks at what they’ve created and realises, “I actually made that!” — that is exactly why I do this. It isn’t just about flowers. It’s about switching off, trying something new, sharing a few laughs and leaving with something you feel genuinely proud of.

The reactions, the laughter, the creativity and the support in that room today were just bloody lovely.

Thank you to every single person who bloomed with me today. You were fabulous, and your teacups were every bit as individual and wonderful as you are.

Now, if anybody needs me, I’ll be lying down somewhere among the leftover flowers! 😂💐
