We have moved to a new venue on Tues 21st July'26, at Yeovil rec ground, Chilton Grove.

Unfortunately, our previous venue was at Blake Hall, South Petherton, and after being there for a long time? The floors too slippery to dance! Three of us had fallen over, one of them broke her wrist last year, the other not as bad? But me, I'd fallen twice. First I hit me head hard onto the floor, and the pain was excruciating until I took painkillers. Second, within 2months, I fell and landed on me ass, bruised hand and hurt me elbow!

We are pleased with our new venue. It has air con, lovely views from the outside, mugs and a small boiler for our teabreak, is laid out ready. Caretaker was lovely and kind, to put chairs out for us. We hold no keys to lock up/unlock, chap does that for us.

Tues 16th Dec" 25 - our last Christmas social. Having fun with musical chairs and pass the parcel. The idea is that the person sits on the chair when music stops, and open one wrapper until the main wrapper is opened, and so on.

Tues 16th Dec" 25 - our last Christmas social. We brought bring and share foods, fun evening of dancing, musical chairs with pass the parcel rolled into one, bounce ping pong balls into the jars! And best dressed Christmas outfit!

We return (weather permitting) on Tues 6th Jan" 26. We welcome beginners to have a go at Appalachian dancing?

Beginners class starts 7pm - 7.45pm. First lesson free. A break around 8pm for tea's, coffee's and nibbles. Any age and abilities. If you've done tapping before, that's great but not important, as we'll give you training. Soft shoes to dance but not sandals, trainers and boots?
