Wrapping and packing at a slower pace this summer .
Fancy tea towels on the fancy table ❤️

Normally I would be much more frantic this time of year . It’s nice to be taking a bit more time for myself.
Art workshops with our local primary school .
Painting and scribbling things for myself.

Out to the festivals soon.
New Camp bestival & Greenman festival arty doodles are in to a table too.

Thursday …..
We went back to pre-school - I say “we”, my youngest was my little art assistant for the morning.
The budding tiny artist at Little Acorns Pre-school created this delightful kaleidoscope of butterflies.

Today I went back to school.
I was lucky to be able to create a “cauldron of bats”with the youngest class at Sticklands primary school in Evershot .
And you’ll definitely agree they a made a fantastic “cloud “ of flying bats .

Tomorrow I am off to pre-school to create a “kaleidoscope” of …

Have I scribbled your county yet ?
Where shall I scribble next .
It often takes me 1-2 months to create a new map~researching all the nitty gritty, scribbling all the iconic landmarks, adding all the unique detail and painting the quirky places in each county makes them what they are and special to me.

I was planning to start a Scottish map next … fancy That? What would you like to see next ?

Last week was a roller coast of heat, fun and sunshine. It was so lovely .
So often I miss out the summer frolics of the summer half term with the family, because I’m tense and feeling stressed about creating new fancy festival illustrations ready in time for Glastonbury festival .
I can honestly say that I’m truly enjoying the Glasto fallow year , I know that many of your won’t be .
The last fallow year I had my baby girl and this is the summer that we’re embracing the family time with new neighbours too. Soaking it all up!
Last week we escaped to the coast with more family too, this was the van pack with toys and not stock!
I’ve been illustrating more county maps this year .
Castles in the sky will be out this summer.
We’re popping up at Camp bestival and Greenman festival .
So there will be some fancy festival paintings there to tempt you ! ❤️
