Transforming hearts, minds, lives and futures through musical unity Music at St Michael's was founded to provide affordable and accessible music-making in one of the 20% most deprived parishes in the UK - and one of the largest (bigger even than the city of Wells) - Music at St Michael'

s is developed across three stages, the first of which saw the founding of an adult community-led robed choir. Exceeding our £3,000 fundraising target by 33% in just two months, the new choir enjoy high-quality training in choral excellence, leading the worship twice a month, newly affiliated to the Royal School of Church Music and seeking to deliver singing workshops at the church and musical events at our three local care homes.

This is SO inspiring! Who says kids aren't into classical and sacred music?!

Tomorrow, 8 organists, including one 7 year old, will be beginning their 24-hour Organathon fundraising extravaganza at Southwell Minster.

From 8pm, the Organathon aims to raise money to give the organ a complete overhaul, culminating in A Night at the Opera.

What an incredible challenge, we wish them the best of luck!
