❤️🎒 Nepal Flash Flood Appeal ❤️🎒

We've launched our Nepal Flash Flood Appeal fundraising for 3,000 SchoolBags to support children impacted by the Flash Flooding in Rasuwa, Nepal in August 2026.

School in a Bag have been working in Nepal since 2012 in association with our brilliant partners Helambu Education and Livelihood Partnership (HELP), lead by Jimmy Lama. To date, through HELP, School in a Bag have distributed 26,459 SchoolBags to children in 297 schools across 29 districts with over 1,300 of these in the flash flood affected Rasuwa district.

Jimmy and his team have visited Rasuwa to see the impact first hand and assess where we can collectively address the need beyond the emergency response phase. Such evidence and contact with the correct authority and relief organisations in the field are vital to ensure that duplication in aid is minimised.

HELP has identified a three-track immediate, short-term and long-term response with School in a Bag committed to supporting the short-term effort.
