Today is so I’m posting this song as a sign of solidarity & hope…

Having a chronic illness & being often comes with the side effect of depression & coping issues (there are days when I don’t know if I can hold on & I know there are many others who feel this way too) but mental health issues are disabling & often chronic conditions in themselves…at my darkest times, alongside my loved ones, it has always been music & creativity that have saved me. I know how hard it is to find the hope in the despair but it is there & I pray anyone struggling finds the light to guide their way

I’ve been meaning to make a video about this for a while & last night I finally posted it…

I know he probs wont ever see/hear this but I recorded this (duet with myself) of the beautiful classic Lewis Capaldi song to say: THANK YOU LEWIS for being wholeheartedly yourself & not letting ur disability set the limits- watching ur set at Glastonbury was extremely emotional & heartwarming- suddenly was really seen & accepted by the thousands in the audience- it’s helped reaffirm that it is OK to be yourself & that health conditions do not have to stop u doing what u love most; I too am a performer (trying v.hard not to let my disbalities prevent me doing what I love) so I recorded this cover on as a little tribute to this amazing guy as a thank u- I know it must have felt so vulnerable up there, but u r awesome & u will always be someone we love! ❤️ I hope ur break helps ur recovery- we are all sending so much love & strength ur way! ❤️🥰🙏

Time to share the I face on a daily basis to raise awareness for
Mentioning just a few of the invisible illnesses I cope with but not all the symptoms from them (cos we’d be here a LONG time)!!! Sometimes its all too easy to forget what goes on ‘behind the mask’ & what many ppl with chronic illness face every day just to get by day to day.
I often feel like I have no strength left, then I remember how much I’ve come through so far…I decided to record to accompany this one because many of us r facing battles we didn’t ask to be part of, but have no choice to survive- that makes us all heros in my book, even if sometimes I have to remind myself of this!

As a & someone who’s an ambulant , its really difficult to find my place in an inaccessible world, particularly in the world of performing arts- but I’m determined to make a change for all those like me! Have been procrastinating for ages about making music content because of how hard life’s been & my fear of judgement cos of the toll of health battles on my body etc, but music is my soul & it just has to be a mainstream part of me life- after all, why should our disabilities define us?! hope u will follow me on this journey! 🙏🎶
