Two new arrivals worth shouting about — epaulette sharks have landed in our marine section 🦈

One of the best-looking aquariums we've ever had on the showroom floor — the Sargasso 910 litre Cleair aquarium.
Comes complete with a circulation pump and a digitally controlled titanium heater, and honestly, the clarity on this glass has to be seen in person to appreciate fully. Free delivery within 50 miles.

Had to share these — some seriously red bearded dragons currently in the reptile section, sitting in enclosures that have had a proper amount of love put into them.
The terrascaping on these setups is something else — layered substrate, real rockwork, planting that actually does a job rather than just looking nice. Well worth popping in to see in person, whether you're after a dragon of your own or just want some inspiration for your own enclosure.

We've been working on something for the marine section for a little while now — something we haven't had in stock for a long time.
Well, it's arrived. We now have epaulette sharks in store 🦈 — genuinely one of the more exciting arrivals we've had in a while, and not something you'll see on many shop floors.

Biggest mixed comets we've had in all year — 8 to 10 inches, and they're a proper sight in person.
Great choice if you want fish that'll actually be visible in a bigger pond rather than disappearing among the planting. In store now, mixed colours — come and have a look.

Bit of a labour of love this one — fitted my dad a brand new filter and a custom-built water feature for his pond, as a birthday surprise.

Got it all in, stood back, admired the work... and then, after a few weeks of it not clearing, realised I'd forgotten to wire in the UV steriliser. Classic case of getting caught up in the exciting bits and missing the boring-but-important one!

Sorting that out this week. I'll pop a follow-up post up once we start seeing the water clear properly — should be a nice before/after.

Anyone else ever finished a "big" job only to realise you skipped a small step? 😅
