Wymondham Art Society is a community club devoted to increasing peoples skills and enjoyment in art, but predominantly in painting or drawing in all its various forms and media. We are not as stuffy as our name implies. Unlike many art clubs we offer frequent demonstrations by professional artists and members tend to paint independently at their own pace. We meet at 7.15pm, every 1st Wednesday in
the month in the Roman Catholic Church Hall, Norwich Rd, Wymondham NR18 0QE. There is plenty of parking at the hall or in the carpark by the library. Our normal membership is about 70 with a maximum of 100. Normal attendance varies from 30 - 50 members and guests. Our annual subscription is currently £30 per year, with a charge of £5 for guests or visitors. Many people come as guests/visitors for the first time just to check us out. Most stay on as valued long term members. We hold an annual Exhibition at Wymondham Arts centre, Church Street, Wymondham, Norfolk, NR18 0PH. More than 80 pictures on show covering a wide spectrum of media, styles and genres.
