𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐢𝐭’𝐬 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐦𝐚𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐥𝐤 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧… 🎄

Walking back to the Market Cross in Wymondham, I could hear some brilliant carol singing echoing across the square. It turned out to be the fantastic South Norfolk Community Choir, raising money for Norwich Food Bank.

I had to stop and say hello. What I wasn’t expecting was to be gently persuaded to join in for a couple of carols. Sadly for the good people of Wymondham, I’m completely tone deaf: so after singing all the right notes in the wrong order for The Holly and the Ivy and O Little Town of Bethlehem, I spared everyone further harm.

Joking aside, a truly lovely group of people giving up their spare time to help others. This is .

A lovely morning singing Christmas Carols to the generous folk of Visit Wymondham. Thank you to all who sang, stopped and listened and/or dropped a donation in our buckets for the local food bank.

A great time was had by all at our workshop with Ali Burns and Jenni Fiske. Beautiful harmonies filled the room as we sung glorious songs composed by Ali.

Record attendance at our choir session on Wednesday. This is the Chitty Chatty Bang Bang version of our new song this term. Clare has arranged our version and it is brilliant.

Wow, what a lovely sing in wymondham Abbey, such a beautiful location with brilliant acoustics. Thank you to everyone who joined us to make glorious harmonies. It was great to see so many new faces. Choir is now on holiday and will recommence on Wednesday 3rd

Don't forget, everyone is most welcome to join us for a sing on Wednesday.

SING! SING! SING! Come and join with us and have a sing at Wymondham Abbey on Wednesday 30th July 1.30pm to 3.30pm. This is not a performance but our regular community choir session which is being held in the beautiful abbey with its wonderful atmosphere and acoustics. The session is open to everyone regardless of whether you have sung before. No need to read music, just a willingness to have a go. The session is FREE to non - members and refreshments will be provided.
No need to book just turn up.
