AUTUMN TERM STARTS 8th SEPTEMBER!
Hi – just to let everybody know that Wye Village Community Choir are starting our Autumn term next Tuesday. 2025/2026 was a great year for the choir, with new members, more appearances and over £1000 raised for charity. So, we’re really looking forward to 2026/2027!
We still have places available – and it doesn’t matter what level you are at. Haven’t sung since school – or maybe never at all? – no problem, we will help you! Can’t read music? – you don’t need to - you’ll pick enough up as you go along! Don’t like the thought of auditions? – well, neither do we – we don’t hold them! You’ve sung in other choirs? – great, we’ll have a lot in common! You’ve had a lot of experience? – you’ll find others here at your level! We really do have a place for everybody.
We sing a range of styles, in 3- or 4-part harmony. We try to keep a varied repertoire, so there’s pieces to suit all tastes – and we love getting suggestions for things to sing from the members!
Subs are very competitive - £25 for this coming term – but you can come along for a taster session, and we won’t charge you if you don’t like it. (But you will)!
