Today I got caught in the rain sending off a parcel (and when I say caught in the rain, I'm talking about a full on poodle hairstyle! 😂).

The shop owner recognised who I was and proudly pointed to our leaflets on the counter.

Running a small business isn't always success after success, even if social media makes it seem that way.

Over the past few weeks we've had some amazing highs. Reaching 1,000 followers, receiving orders and seeing our leaflets out and about 💜

But we've also had our challenges. Our TikTok account was banned in error and we're waiting for it to be resolved. Vinted requires us to switch to a Pro account and we've discovered we should have been completing a Self Assessment (lots of paperwork to figure out) 🤯

Sometimes running a small business means spending just as much time filling out forms as you do creating products.

We're figuring it all out one (very slow) step at a time 😂

Here's to the good, the bad and the small business ugly 🥂
