The Delta Academy of Dance and Performing Arts offers weekly dance classes for children aged 2 1/2 years and upwards. Classes are held at our purpose-built venue on Queensway Road, Wrexham, LL13 8UN. Dance classes include Ballet, Tap, Lyrical, Contemporary, Jazz, Song, Street, and Mime. These exciting classes start from just £8 a lesson and lead to examinations, medal tests, qualifications, and sh

ows. All syllabi follow LAMDA (Drama), National College of Music and LAMDA (Singing), and ISTD and ADA (Dance). The Delta Academy also offers two or three-hour Performing Arts Packages that include Drama, Singing, and Dance. These fun-filled, dynamic classes are held on Thursday and Friday evenings or Saturday mornings and are taught by highly qualified, experienced tutors. Delta also offers an Annual Production performed in a major theatre and Holiday Clubs and Workshops. Whether your flair is for singing, dancing, or acting, with your talent comes confidence, independence, and a passion for life… Delta will inspire you!

🎭 Wrexham Carnival Parade 2026 – Calling All Performers!

The first-ever Wrexham Carnival Parade, taking place on Saturday 18th July 2026.

The parade will travel from Library Field to Bellevue Park, celebrating the incredible diversity, talent and community spirit that makes Wrexham so special.

There are lots of opportunities to get involved, including:

🎭 Parade Participation – Cultural dance groups, societies and community organisations are invited to join the procession.

🌍 Procession of Nationalities – A celebration of the many cultures represented across Wrexham. If you have links to another country and traditional dress to wear, you are encouraged to take part.

🎤 Wrexham’s Got Talent – Showcasing performers of all kinds, including dance, singing, drama, comedy, poetry, magic and more, with heats throughout the day and a grand final in the afternoon.

💃 World’s Largest Charleston Lesson – Help make history and be part of an attempt to break a world record!

There are also opportunities for groups to secure a performance slot during the carnival entertainment programme.

Some moments at The Delta Academy stay with us forever, and this is certainly one of them.

A beautiful photograph capturing smiles, friendship and the incredible bonds that are formed through dance. From tiny dancers taking their first steps in the studio to the dedicated teachers and mentors guiding them along the way, these are the memories that make our Delta family so special.

Watching our students grow in confidence, develop new skills and create lifelong friendships is one of the greatest privileges of what we do.
