We’re welcoming lots of new faces to the studio this September so we thought we’d reintroduce the members of our team! 👋

Elin has been with us since 2022 and is the Lead Tutor at Wrexham Sounds. She teaches 1:1 lessons in piano and drums, delivers on the WCBC Enrichment Programme and facilitates many of our community outreach workshops across Wrexham and surrounding areas.

A huge thank you to the Moondance Foundation for funding our 'Music and Moments' sessions for over 60s across Wrexham and Flintshire!

We recently had a brilliant session with residents at Marleyfield House Residential Care enjoying rhythm activities, percussion playing and plenty of singing together.

Music can be a powerful way to support wellbeing, self-expression and connection. Our workshops offer people the opportunity to explore their own musical voices, preferences and memories while taking part in an enjoyable and inclusive social activity - whether through singing, playing an instrument, moving to the rhythm or simply listening.

A big thank you to everyone at Marleyfield House for welcoming us!

⭐️MUSIC LESSONS⭐️

With just a couple of weeks left before everyone goes back to school, now is the perfect time to book in some summer holiday music lessons with us.

We offer 1-1 tuition in a range of musical instruments delivered at our purpose built music school in Rhosrobin.

Music for Wellbeing sessions provide an opportunity for participants to explore creative musical activities in a relaxed and flexible environment.

Sessions are participant-led and give those taking part the opportunity to explore their musical interests, build confidence, develop their personal skills and collaborate with their tutor.

Song creation can be a cathartic way to express yourself, or simply a fun opportunity to experiment with combining music and words to see where your creativity takes you.

We accept Music for Wellbeing referrals from Local Authorities, Charities, Care Providers and Families.

At Wrexham Sounds we deliver 1:1 music lessons throughout the week.

Lessons are suitable for anyone over the age of 6, from beginners to more advanced players.

This year, Social Investment Cymru celebrates 20 years of supporting voluntary organisations across Wales. Wrexham Sounds has been fortunate to benefit from that support.

We are excited to announce that we are hosting a night of live music to celebrate all things Wrexham Sounds and 20 years of Social Investment Cymru, whilst raising funds to help us continue to enrich lives and communities through music.

Join us on Friday 2nd October 2026 to see local covers band, Thunderbug, reunite on stage at Saith Seren, Wrexham, along with performances from students and staff.

The music kicks off at 8.30pm and there will be a raffle drawn on the night featuring some fantastic prizes from local businesses.

Yesterday we delivered a rhythm workshop as part of the Food and Fun programme at Ysgol Bryn Garth near Prestatyn.

The children had a fantastic time exploring the hand drums and creating their own beats and sounds.

A huge congratulations to our Music for Wellbeing attendee, Josh, who put on a fantastic performance supporting The Smith and Jones Band at Tallarn Green Village Hall! The show was a very enjoyable experience for both Josh and those who attended.

Music for Wellbeing has provided Josh a safe and welcoming space to explore his passion for music with his tutor, Isabel. He used his sessions to carefully prepare for this performance and we are extremely proud of his achievements!
