Grove Park Theatre is Wrexham’s oldest amateur theatre and is based in the town centre. We aim to provide the community of Wrexham with good value entertainment of a consistently high standard. Our shows range from comedy, drama and suspense through to costume plays, pantomimes and musicals. We are run entirely by volunteers and are always keen to welcome new members in both the adult and youth se

Don’t forget that the first audition of our 2026–27 season, A Streetcar Named Desire is taking place tomorrow, Sunday 14th June!

Whether you’re a seasoned performer or have been thinking about getting involved for the first time, we would love to see you there. Come along, give it a go, and help us kick off another fantastic season.

Rehearsals are really heating up for Little Shop! The cast are getting to grips with show's musical numbers choreography and puppets; the production is really starting to take shape.

Today and tomorrow, you will find us at Wrexham Library, where we are showcasing a selection of items from our extensive archive and celebrating 100 years of our history.

Some of our wonderful members will be there throughout the event and are looking forward to meeting visitors, sharing stories and talking about our collection.

This timeless Pulitzer Prize-winning drama features some of theatre's most compelling and challenging roles. These are open auditions and we welcome performers of all experience levels to audition.

As we look back on the production, we are filled with pride and gratitude.
Once again, our cast and crew amazed us with what they achieved. Every production at Grove Park Theatre is powered by volunteers, and we are continually inspired by the dedication, passion, talent and countless hours our members pour into bringing these shows to life. What audiences see on stage is only possible because of the extraordinary effort that happens behind the scenes.

With the penultimate production of our centenary season now complete, there is just one show left to go...

🎭 As part of our centenary season, we have been celebrating some of the greatest and most memorable productions from across Grove Park Theatre’s 100 year history, and Loot is one of them. 🎭

Joe Orton’s brilliantly dark comedy was last performed here in 1974, and these photos perfectly capture the connection between past and present as our current cast recreate an image from that original production over 50 years ago.

It has been so special to revisit this fantastic play as part of our centenary celebrations, honouring the generations of performers and volunteers who have kept theatre alive at Grove Park for a whole century. 💛

🎟 Loot continues its run this week, and there is still time to come and be part of this very special season. If you haven’t seen it yet, we woud love to welcome you.
