Wrexham has been shortlisted for UK City of Culture 2029!!!!

What a time to be a Wrecsamite ❤️
This wouldn't be possible without EVERYONE! From the faces you see on screen, to those who chip away in the background to make Wrecsam the truly unique and brilliant place it is. There are cogs you'll never see spinning, yet are vital to every heartbeat of this county.

Many of us sit proudly this morning having always known exactly who we are and what we're capable of. Without a word or needing request, because that love and genuine passion pumps through the veins.

To the small businesses, the authentic creatives, community orgs and those who wake daily with a passion to just make Wrecsam a better and welcoming place, this is for you.

My Gran has lost her wedding ring!!! If you were travelling on the Caia bus today and found a gold wedding band PLEASE get in touch!! Gran caught the No7 at 1.35pm from King Street to Deva Way this afternoon, and walked from Deva Way to Moorland Avenue. If anyone has found anything in the street there, on the bus or around the bus station, please let me know. This is devastating for her 💔

Such a lush afternoon with this bunch. Team building and growing the foundations for the next ten years of New Sinfonia. Followed by munch at Levant (proper nice btw).

So much has been achieved over the years, and that's entirely down to a group of people with passion, strong ethics and drive. An organisation where everyone feels like they belong!

Here's to our next chapter, team NS 👊🏻

Had an amazing morning at the opening of Wrexham Museums. I'm proudly featured in the "We are Wrecsam" exhibit, and honestly, it means so much to be acknowledged in this way. Can't believe it, thank you!

The museum is stunning and there was so much to see. Definitely going to be making another trip to find even more nuggets of history I didn't quite catch today! What a gem for the town ❤️

Such a lush launch day in the capital joined by Neil Irwin from Haemochromatosis UK. Huge thank you to everyone for showing support. It's time to put Genetic Haemochromatosis firmly on the health agenda at Welsh Government to improve awareness, diagnosis and treatment.

GH isn't rare, in Wales 1 in 150 people are impacted, and those numbers are likely much higher due to underdiagnosis.
