North Wales Opera Company and Studio are delighted to welcome back mezzo soprano Priscilla Fong to the fold for our NIGHT AT THE OPERA concert at Llangollen Pavillion on July 25th.
Priscilla sang a lovely Dorabella for us in our production of Cosi fan Tutte a couple of years ago that we performed at the Northumberland Music Festival.

We are looking forward to returning to Llanfyllin Workhouse with what has now become a yearly summer tradition.
It’s a magical place to perform for our singers and delightful for the audience to sit and listen to beautiful voices singing glorious music in the balmy summer air.

A huge thank you to the incredible musicians of SY1 for their outstanding playing throughout our recent production of Rigoletto.

Under the musical direction of Andrew Charity, with Bedwyn Phillips as Deputy, the ensemble brought tremendous energy, colour, and sensitivity to Verdi’s score night after night.

Their artistry, professionalism, and collaborative spirit were an essential part of making this tour such a success, and everyone at North Wales Opera is enormously grateful for their contribution.

We are already looking forward to working together again for our production of Madama Butterfly this December 🎶

A huge congratulations to our Duke of Mantua, Robin Jeffcoat Dick, and our Gilda, Khrystyna Makar, for an extraordinary achievement throughout our Rigoletto tour. 👏🎭

Performing these demanding principal roles across every performance is no small feat — and completing two full performances in one day on Saturday showed exceptional stamina, discipline, and artistry.

Opera at this level demands far more than simply singing the notes. It requires physical endurance, emotional intensity, concentration, and unwavering vocal control from the first scene to the final curtain.

We are incredibly proud to have shared the stage with such dedicated artists throughout this tour. Bravo to you both! 🎶✨

What a way to close our Rigoletto tour.

Last night in Shrewsbury brought the final performance of this production — and what a journey it has been. From the rehearsal room to the final curtain call, it’s been a privilege to share Verdi’s masterpiece with audiences across the tour.

A huge thank you to our wonderful cast, orchestra, creative team, volunteers, and of course every audience member who supported live opera along the way.
