Our next concert is on Sunday January 19th 2020 when we will open our Musical Picture Book... lots of surprises in our book and it comes complete with a Techniquest Glyndwr Harry Potter Light, Sound and Music Event in the foyer from 2pm. On Sunday we shall be joined by a charity which is supported by Global's Make Some Noise. Amy & Friends is a local charity who support families of children and suffering from Cockayne Syndrome (CS) and Trichothiodystrophy (TTD). They are a world leading charity whose work extends across the globe. It has bases in the Wirral and Denbigh. We are thrilled they are joining our 50th Birthday Party and Concert. We are getting very excited about our whole family 50th Birthday Party and Concert at 3.30pm on Sunday 3rd November 2019 in the William Aston Hall in Wrexham Glyndwr University. The concert programme is fabulous and full of some of the most popular music from the 2019 Classic FM Hall of Fame... Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Swan Lake, Lark Ascending, Beethoven's 5th Symphony and much more. We are supporting the Make Some Noise charity which focuses on supporting families and children and highlighting the work of the smaller charities whose voice is rarely heard.

Coming up on Sunday 19th January... a ‘Harry Potter’ Special with a fantastic music, sound and light activities in the foyer by Techniquest Glyndwr before the concert. We will be encouraging the children to dress up in their Harry Potter costumes, bring their favourite Harry Potter book and show us their magic. Celebrating our Young People in Music.

As part of the Wrexham Symphony Orchestra's 50th Birthday party and concert on November 3rd, we are promoting two very special Live Music Showcase recital concerts in Tŷ Pawb around the theme ‘Celebrating our Young People in Music’.

On Monday 28th October between 12 noon and 1pm The Story Teller, Jacqui Blore will be hosting a FREE to attend Make your own Music Instrument workshop in Tŷ Pawb.

Then on Thursday October 31st between 12 noon and 12.45 Jacqui will engage the children in a music themed Story time and together they will 'Make Some Noise'. Jacqui will be supported by Highland Bagpiper Douglas Cameron.

From 1pm to 2pm several young musicians will perform in a FREE to attend Live Music Showcase recital concert in the Performance Space and Douglas Cameron will draw the whole event to a close with a recital of bagpipe music.

Donations made on the two days will be given to Make Some Noise, a charity which supports local, smaller charities whose voice seldom gets heard but who do valuable work in our local community.
