After our Summer break, choirs will soon be getting going again with some great new material along with a few favourite familiar tunes, for a new term starting on Monday 9th September:
The Morning Choir Mondays 9.30-11am in Wotton United Church hall
North Nibley Community Choir 7.30-9pm in North Nibley Chapel.

New members are welcome.

Thankyou to everyone that came and supported us at our concert last Sunday. We raised a whopping £640 for Rory's Well, which will be doubled by The Big Give. So your donations reached the fabulous total of £1280 which will go to the life changing projects in Sierra Leone initiated by Rory's Well.

Please come along to support us at our fundraiser concert for Rory's Well. It's on Sunday 4th December at 3pm in Wotton United Church Hall. Followed by tea, coffee and a lovely choice of home made cakes. An afternoon of delicious treats for the body and soul!

I am very pleased to say that The Morning Choir is returning to weekly indoor singing again! Sessions start on Monday 13th September 9.30-10.45am at Wotton United Church.

It has only been one week since the first cancelled session but what a week it has been, and it already feels like a lifetime ago since we sang together. But plans are underway to get a simple way of the choir singing together online (via the video conferencing app, Zoom) so we can carry on connecting with each together. We may not be able to get out to be together but Zoom will support us to see each other and to sing our hearts out at home. All you need is a computer, tablet or phone. Children, pets and other home distractions will be most welcome! I will keep you updated as to how and when this can get started and send out very simple instructions as to how it works. I hope everyone is staying well and that we can see each other on screen soon.

Happy New Year everyone! We start back with weekly rehearsals in Wotton United Church hall on Tuesday 14th January at 9.30am.
