Since 2020, we’ve brought art to hundreds of thousands of visitors along Worthing seafront. From its inaugural exhibition, By the Sea in 2020, there has been a number of exhibitions over the past 6 years from stunning seascapes by Steve Gallagher, Portraits from lockdown by Barry Falk, Lorna Allan’s Art of Participation showcasing the creative community in Worthing and thought-provoking projects around food banks, mental health and the courage of refugees. We hope you've enjoyed seeing the exhibitions change over the years.

The West Buildings Shelter is now open for expressions of interest, looking for new and imaginative ideas for the space. If you have an idea for the space and would be interested in applying, head to the link below;

Meet Steven Bloomer

Whilst Durrington were here back in July for their annual exhibition, we had a chat with Steven Bloomer, head of the Art Department at Durrington High School to find out what they love about exhibiting at Colonnade House and to hear more about some of the artwork.

Having exhibited here for a number of years now, it’s been great to have seen so many talented students come through the gallery over the years, making way for the next generation of artists.

Have a read of our interview with Steven over on our blog post - link is in the bio!

Even though we had planned to close for August, there’s been a slight change of plans.

As you know, building works rarely go as planned and whilst we’re still waiting for some of the works to begin, we have a new exhibition for you this week.

We’d like to say a huge thank you to Michael Harbour for stepping in and bringing his exhibition forward a few weeks to help bring the gallery back to life.

Make sure you visit Michael in the gallery this week and explore his texture, semi-abstract landscapes of the coastline and riversides.

Open until Sunday // 10.00 - 17.00
