DID YOU KNOW? 🎨

Before we became 'Two Faced Twins', we used to call ourselves 'The Twin Project'. But people kept asking "So when does the project finish?" It got tiresome, so we knew we had to change our name for people to take us seriously. It took months of discussion with the whole family to finally land on 'Two Faced Twins'!

Saltdean Lido, that gorgeous 1930s Art Deco icon on the Sussex coast. Capturing those curves and that seaside blue was a joy.

A little fact for you, Saltdean Lido opened in 1938, designed by Richard WH Jones in the Streamline Moderne Art Deco style.

The sad thing Is, it nearly didn't survive. In 2010 the lido's lowest point saw plans announced to demolish it for housing, but local residents formed an action group of volunteers and retirees to save it. The building reopened fully in 2024 and attracted more than 100,000 visitors in its first year, It even picked up a 2026 RIBA South East Award. Every single piece represents someone who believed in us, trusted us with their space, and became part of the Two Faced Twins family. Welcome our newest recruit! His name is Mckellen, nickname Mac! 👶
He's not great at serving customers yet, spends most of his shift asleep, and we're still waiting for him to learn how to wrap the homeware orders! 😂

It was the best day yesterday when Gem came charging into the gallery pushing the buggy towards me so I could have a hold of my new nephew in the gallery 🥰 I carried him around and his little eyes were transfixed on the bright colours. It's amazing to introduce our newest family member to the TFT gallery and artwork.

Now the big question is... do you think he'll grow up to be an artist like his mum and auntie, or will he discover a completely different talent?! 🎨

Have you ever seen our artwork up in Southlands Hospital?

We often have people message us or pop into our gallery to tell us they've seen it there, and that it's helped brighten their days during what may have been a difficult time. Knowing our artwork can bring a little joy and light into people's lives means so much to us! 🤍

We're so excited to share we were also asked to create a piece to go in St Richard's Hospital in Chichester... From this, the beautiful Chichester Cross artwork was born 💜 (see pic!)

Brighton Pier holds memories for all of us. Sometimes just one piece of art (even if it's on one of our lovely coasters!) can bring back a whole summer, a family walk, or an ice cream by the sea.

We loved running our art exhibition at Shoreham Airport a few months ago! It's also the first time our brand new Brighton Pier artwork was on public display.

Shoreham Airport is such a fascinating place to showcase our work, so we feel very lucky to have been invited to exhibit in their gallery space.

The airport is incredibly beautiful with it's Art Deco architecture, and we hope to be doing more and more exhibitions in the local area. If you want to know where we are next feel free to drop us a message!
