An exciting event awaits our Degree students, designed to elevate their learning experience, foster a vibrant creative community, and prepare emerging artists for successful careers in the arts! 🎓💡
We are dedicating the week of 25th November to bridging the gap between education and industry success in our HE Creative Industries week. Bringing together students from all seven theatre degree programs, equipping them with essential tools and resources for life beyond graduation. 💼
Students will hear from incredible alumni who’ve made their mark in the creative industries, sharing valuable insights on overcoming challenges, self-promotion, and diversifying in a competitive field.
Alongside the specialist workshops, classes and lectures we have lined up, all students will take part in a range of essential Industry sessions including:
• Self-assessment tax
• Equity, BECTU and Spotlight memberships
• Marketing & Self-promotion
• Q&A’s with Industry professionals
• How to get the best out of Canva and websites for branding
Attendees will also have the opportunity to get hands-on experience in studio and workshop spaces, experimenting with new ideas and honing their craft!
This is a unique opportunity for students to gain industry insights and practical skills that will set them up for success.
