Workington & District Amateur Musical Society WADAMS have a long tradition of amateur theatre in West Cumbria.

Each year we produce a Pantomime and senior spring show, as well as shows across our youth sections, Next Generation and WADAMS Tots.

🎭It’s nearly Panto Time, Oh Yes it is! ✨

It’s all go at WADAMS HQ! Alongside our talented Next Gen Members who are preparing to perform Matilda Jr, 📚we are also in preparations for our upcoming pantomime Cinderella, which will run in the Carnegie Theatre from 26th – 30th December 2026 🎄🌟

If you are aged 16+ and either a seasoned performer or simply fancy trying something new and performing in our Award Winning Annual Pantomime, drop us a message before 7th September for further information. 🎭

We’re officially down to our final 3 rehearsals before we leave the rehearsal room behind and take Matilda Jr. to Carnegie Theatre! 👀

After months of rehearsals, the show is coming together beautifully and our cast are more than ready to step onto that stage. 📚🎶💃

Now it’s all about those final run-throughs, the finishing touches and getting ready to bring everything to life under the lights. ✨
