This coming Saturday is our penultimate Folk in the Forest for 2024, with special guests singer / song-writer Jordan Worsfold and acoustic folkies Burnt Horse - it promises to be a great evening

The weather forecast looks great for Folk in the Forest on Saturday at Cafe Ambio, Whinlatter Forest, so I hope we'll have our little folk club out on the verandah in the evening sun, with floor spots, guest slots from Quickbeam and The Lonnings and an open session in the cafe later...

Next Saturday sees the first of our season's Folk in the Forest evenings in the Whinlatter forest. Delighted to welcome special guests Tim Helen Elvin and Briar and Bramble (Mike Turnbull & Kate Hewson), as well as singers from Sing Owt and Wild Chorus to fill the forest with harmony. 7pm start, 9pm session, done by 10pm.

Hoping that the weather has a change of heart so we can contemplate at least the first part of the evening out on the verandah under the waxing moon... otherwise we'll be in the warmth of Cafe Ambio,
