It is with great sadness that today I learned of the untimely passing of Pete Brookes. A fine guitarist and a great supporter of Worfestock over the years. A proper generous gent gone too soon. See you up the road Pete.

Queen Elizabeth the second… what a Lady. A proper role model. Her selflessness and sense of duty will live on for a very long time after the sadness of her passing has subsided. It was indeed the golden jubilee that gave rise to the mighty Worfestock and I know plenty of us had world class hangovers in her honour many times at Worfield cricket club. We had so much fun the first time, we did it for years after and so Queen Elizabeth was responsible for many years of good times in Worfield. To my knowledge, she never broke a promise, missed very few appointments and was working right up until the end.

God bless you and Thank you for being our Queen.

For visitors of the page please be advised that there are no plans to stage Worfestock going forward. I will however, leave the page up for posterity as there are some good pics and videos. We had a lot of fun over the years and I met some fine musicians and fine friends. You never know, it may get reborn in another time in another place.
