🎄 A LITTLE SOMETHING DIFFERENT FOR US… 🎄

It’s not something we do very often, but Angie and I are really excited to be having a Worcester Crafty Club stall at a local Christmas Shopping Evening! ❤️

We’ll be bringing along lots of lovely handmade crafty goodies — all made by us — perfect for Christmas presents… or a little present to yourself. 🤭

And something new for this year…

🎁 Worcester Crafty Club Gift Vouchers!

For the first time, you’ll be able to buy a gift voucher towards one of our 2027 workshops — perfect for someone who’d rather receive an experience than more stuff.

We haven’t even finished dreaming up everything we want to do next year yet 🤪, but there will certainly be plenty of making!

SOCIAL MEDIA… WE’RE MAKING FRIENDS WITH IT! 🙈😂

When Angie and I first started sharing our crafts with other people, it began with our friends.

They came…
They came again…
And amazingly, many of them still come! 😂💚

But we realised we couldn’t keep asking the same lovely people to fill our workshops, so back in February we took the plunge and launched Worcester Crafty Club on social media — mainly Facebook.

Truth be told, social media is something we’ve simply had to make friends with. 😂

We see some incredibly clever creatives producing fabulous reels and posts — flashing images, clever transitions, words popping up everywhere — and occasionally we think…

Should we be doing that?
Would we like to know how? Maybe.
Do we actually know how? Not really. 🥴🤣

The internet itself is AMAZING for researching ideas and learning how to do things. But give me a rabbit hole to disappear down looking for one particular thing or trying to work out how something is made and hours of my life can disappear that I’m fairly certain I’m never getting back… often without even finding what I was looking for! 🤣

Give me a day actually making something anytime. ❤️

And perhaps that’s why we’ve realised we’d rather talk to you on here exactly as we’d talk to you if you were sitting across the table from us.

We’ll show you what we’ve made.
Tell you where we’ve been.
Share the things that went brilliantly…
And probably tell you about the things that didn’t. 😂

No flashing lights.
No social-media wizardry.

Just us being us.

And judging by the lovely little community that’s grown here since February, perhaps that’s actually enough. 💚

And we’re certainly not slowing down just yet!

Next stop… more Blooming Lovely Mosaic Boards & Baths Flowers By Anna Brian and Rise + Grind 🌟

Then November brings our Baubles & Bubbles evenings The Sergeants’ Mess, Worcester Norton CIC 🥂🎄 — and we still have a few places available on Wednesday 25th November if you fancy joining us.

We’re also taking Crafty Club to a private event for a lovely group of ladies who meet monthly, PLUS we’ll be running a stall at a local Christmas shopping evening with lots of crafty goodies!! Details will be out shortly.

Wowsers… and all while we’re both working full time. 😂

Is it a lot? Yes.
Do we love it? Oh yes!!! ❤️

Oh, and while Angie is away…

After watching all those ladies happily making on Saturday and suffering from a serious case of crafting FOMO…

I’ve been up to something. 🤪

WELL… THAT WENT WELL! 💚

Rise + Grind — you were fabulous!

What a lovely morning we’ve had.

There were ladies we’ve met before, lots of new faces, and one lovely lady who unfortunately couldn’t join us at the last minute and was very much missed from our group today. ❤️

One of the things that matters most to us about Worcester Crafty Club is that everyone is welcome.

Beginner or experienced. Any age, any gender. Come with a group, come with a friend or simply come on your own.

There are no exclusions at Crafty Club.

Our priority has always been that you enjoy the time you spend with us. And we love watching what happens around those tables — people chatting, encouraging each other, sharing ideas and making sure everyone feels part of it.

Today, friends AND some fabulous mosaics were made! 🙏🏼

They might not look quite finished yet, but give them their recommended 24-hour curing time, get them grouted at home and they are going to be MAGICAL! ✨

And fear not, ladies… you’ll all be receiving our grouting demonstration video, which frankly is worthy of an Oscar. 🤣🏆

A HUGE thank you to our fabulous Crafty Helper Helena. Having an extra pair of hands made everything run so much more smoothly — and somehow, when everyone left, the room didn’t resemble the aftermath of a small craft-related car crash. 😂 It was actually organised and tidy! 🥰

Thank you too to Liv, who kept everyone hydrated throughout the morning, and to Josh and all the kitchen boys and girls for looking after us so brilliantly.

And finally, thank you to every single one of our Crafty Clubbers who came along today.

You are what makes these workshops what they are. 💚

We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.

IT’S BEEN ONE OF THOSE WEEKS… 💚

Sometimes life is tough, work is hard and the stars just don’t seem to be quite in line.

It’s been a bit like that for both Angie and me this week.

On top of everything else, poor Angie has been having a bit of a battle with UK dental services. At one point I feared I might have to add tooth extractions to my repertoire, with the assistance of a YouTube video. 🦷😂

Thankfully, it didn’t come to that! All is sorted and we are READY to get crafty!!

This afternoon we’ve been setting up at Rise + Grind, all ready to welcome 16 lovely Crafty Clubbers tomorrow morning and I’m sure you’ll agree it’s looking fabulous!

And we honestly can’t wait. 💚

Will we make mosaics?
Absolutely.

Will we drink tea, coffee and chat?
Of course.

Will we have fun?
You bet we will! 😂

Sometimes a few hours spent creating something, chatting to lovely people and forgetting about everything else for a while is exactly what you need.

That’s what Crafty Club is all about.
