Last night, we were invited to Heart of Worcestershire College’s Celebration Awards Dinner. ✨

Not only did we have a fantastic meal cooked and served by the students, but we also won this beautiful award made by the students. 🎨

It was a privilege to be awarded Business of the Year – The Arts for our collaboration and partnership with the College.

Children and young people are at the heart of Severn Arts, and working with partners like HOW College enables both organisations to develop and deliver projects that help young people grow and thrive.

We’re delighted to announce that Maddison Dilloway was selected as the winner of the Severn Arts Creative Entrepreneur Award! ✨

The award supports emerging artists as they move from university into independent creative practice, helping them build the skills, confidence, and networks, to shape their creative future.

Speaking about receiving the award, Maddison shared:

“Receiving this award holds a lot of significance for me. As artists, I think we often grapple with doubting our work. However, being chosen by amazing working creatives based on my showcased pieces and proposal, acts as a validation of my practice, and its place within the creative professional world.

As an artist working with unconventional themes, I find it challenging to visualise my work functioning in real world briefs. So, I am very excited for the opportunity to explore different avenues and adapting my discipline, with the support of Severn Arts.”
