We’ve been having lots of medieval fun at The Commandery this summer! 🏰⚔️

There’s still time to take on The Knight’s Quest. Explore the museum, hunt for the knight’s symbols and complete the mini challenges along the way! 🔍

And if you’re feeling creative, pick up one of our Medieval Summer activity bags from the shop and head to the craft room! Choose from making your own noble crown and sceptre, creating a medieval castle or decorating your very own knight and horse. 👑

Author Charles Cordell - author - English Civil War fiction will be at The Commandery on Sunday 30 August! 💫

He'll be talking about writing historical fiction and Divided Kingdom book #2 – The Keys of Hell and Death. He will describe his journey from 'Army to Author' and writing historical fiction set within the English Civil War.

Taking place just a few days before the 375th anniversary of the Battle of Worcester, this talk will discuss how and why 17th-century historical fiction can feel so relevant today.

There'll be a Q&A and a book signing following the talk.

Sunday 30 August, 1 - 2pm. £10. If you’d like to look around The Commandery, you can get half-price general admission from the shop on the day of the workshop.
