Exciting news... A brand-new second escape room opens at The Commandery on Friday 1 May! 🤩

The Commandery has centuries of history – it’s been a monastic hospital, family home, and a printworks. In this game, step into the shoes of the servants of the house in the Victorian era.

A precious vase has disappeared, and the mystery is turning the inhabitants of the house upside down as accusations fly.

The servants must catch the porcelain thief before one of them is wrongly held responsible – but are they a fellow servant, or could the villain be the cold, commanding housekeeper, Miss Crow? 👀

The Servant's Secret was created with the brilliant team at Imaginarium - Interactive Experience Design.

The original Commandery Quest game is still available to be enjoyed too! It's had a name makeover and is now known as The King's Seal. 👑

🚨 New ticketing system!

Over the past few months, we’ve been busily working behind the scenes to launch a new ticketing system, as Art Tickets closes at the end of this month.

From Tuesday 18 November, Ticketsource will be the place you can book tickets for the Art Gallery and Museum and The Commandery.

All bookings will be unavailable on Monday 17 November, while we make the transition to the new system.

✅ Any tickets you already have bought through Art Tickets are still valid.

Please note that Ticketsource charges a booking fee of 7% plus VAT per ticket. In most cases, the fee will be added on to ticket prices, which is why you will notice a small increase in our prices. For this reason, we have taken the decision not to apply an inflationary increase to most prices for 2026.
