Unfortunately due to current circumstances the theatre has had to close for the foreseeable future. Therefore 'Agnes of God' has had to be postponed until further notice.

As this is the case we may have another performance which will be performed before this one is rescheduled called 'Bazaar and Rummage'

Meet Sue

Sue has been a member of STAC for about 20 years but amateur dramatics have been a major interest of hers for many years. She liked it so much she married a drama teacher! In Agnes of God Sue plays the role of Martha Livingstone, a psychiatrist appointed by the court to assess the sanity of a young nun accused of murdering her new-born child.

Meet Sarah

Sarah spent more than thirty years ‘resting’ after her first appearance on stage in a school production of Billy Liar, if you can call bringing up a lively family resting! Since returning to the theatre when she moved to Worcester in 2014, she’s put that experience to good use, playing the mother of a badly behaved eleven year old boy in God of Carnage, the mother of the teenager throwing a noisy party in Abigail’s Party and the mother of Roberta, Peter and Phyllis in The Railway Children.

Of course, Mother Miriam Ruth presents a new challenge, or should that be a change of habit? Luckily, Sarah’s always happy to have a go, as her award winning skills in stage vomiting will testify. As yet, there hasn’t been an opportunity to demonstrate her talents in playing the trombone or helming a narrowboat on stage but she hasn’t given up hope of a future production of Brassed Off set on the Worcester and Birmingham canal.

Meet Amanda

Amanda popped out performing; singing and dancing since day dot in a plethora of competitions and shows. Her love for drama followed suit, and she attended MADD college in Nottingham, where the finale of 3 years of hard graft was a showcase on a West End stage. Since then she has enjoyed playing many roles, in shows and events ranging from horror festivals, to murder mysteries.

Amanda first performed with STAC in children's theatre, notably donning the dragon suit in 2017. She also made appearances in Shakers: Restirred, and Neighborhood Watch.

Summoned to a convent, Dr. Martha Livingstone, a court-appointed psychiatrist is asked to determine the sanity of a young novitiate nun accused of murdering her own newborn baby. Miriam Ruth, the Mother Superior, seems bent on protecting young Sister Agnes from the doctor, arousing Livingstone’s suspicions. Who killed the infant and who fathered the child? Livingstone’s questions force all three women to re-examine the meaning of faith, the power of love and the realities in their own lives leading to a dramatic, compelling climax.
