This easy, fun and mindful activity is great for all ages and abilities.

A great idea for a rainy day or weekend treat or just to relax, unwind and create!

All painted items will stay with us to be glazed and fired in our kiln ready for you to collect at a later date

Suitability: Suitable for All Ages & Abilities (under 5s may need adult assistance)

Price is £7 per hour for your seat. Payment for your selected items to paint will be charged on the day from £2 depending on chosen ceramic item.

A chance to create your own lino print projects with an expert to hand.

This workshop is ideal for those who have already had an introduction to lino cut printing and would like to continue on their own projects and designs.

Or if you’re a beginner, our tutor, Helen Maxfield can introduce you to lino printing and help you bring your ideas to life.

A perfect way to get started in lino printing, refine your technique or complete a bigger project over a series of sessions.

You will have access to cutting tools, inks and equipment to create your lino cut prints.

Come along with your own inspiration & ideas or be inspired by the resources provided.

Please Note: if you are working on a particularly large project, there may be an additional cost to go towards materials.

Explore the magic of creating with glass!

This course gives you the opportunity to create your own projects in glass media, with support and guidance.

This class offers instruction & guidance for Beginners* in the construction of Copper-Foil & Mosaic Applique Stained Glass Projects.

Or, if you have already attended one of our Stained Glass Classes, a chance to continue with your own projects with guidance from an expert.

If you have completed our Traditional Leaded Panel Course, you can also create your own projects using this Stained Glass technique, with guidance from Louise.

Basic tools and equipment will be available for use during the classes but you can bring your own along if you prefer.

Please Note:
If you are working with lead, it is not advisable for pregnant or breast-feeding women.
Please wear close-toed shoes.

Clay: Botanical Wrap Vases & Vessels Workshop

Using beautiful fresh seasonal blooms and foliage to imprint in to the surface of the clay, creating wonderful textures and floral shapes, the clay is then wrapped round to create a vase.

Emma will guide you through the process step by step with plenty of creative time. You will learn various methods for getting a perfect print from your botanicals. You will also be shown how to roll an even piece of clay, how to wrap, join and add a base and how to tidy and refine; along with lots of other tips, tricks and techniques for using clay.

Seasonal flowers & foliage will be provided but you may like to bring your own along too.

All pieces made will be colour washed with a natural coloured underglaze to highlight your imprints, glazed on the inside only and then fired.

If you would prefer, you can opt to decorate your pieces with a range of colours at a later date (additional charges will apply) Please just let us know before you leave your session.

Thinking of learning a language or wanting to improve your language skills?

Small Group Sessions with our fabulous tutor, Cary Nunez, will help you get started or improve your language skills in either Spanish or Italian.

These interesting and dynamic lessons combine knowledge of grammar with conversations.

You will develop pronunciation skills as well as reading, listening and writing. You’ll find this a really fulfilling course and great fun!

Jewellery Making: Silver Ring Workshop

Design & Make your own Silver Ring. The perfect workshop if you’ve never worked with metal before or you’d like a short taster session. In this class you will be introduced to jewellery making using Silver.

Local jewellery artist, Helen Smith, will guide you through the designing and making process. You will use silver wire to form a simple ring. You will learn how to form and size the silver and to add texture or create a wave, before finally polishing.

Suitability: Adults & Age 16+
Beginners & Those With Experience
Duration: 2 hours

Please Note: You will need to wear closed toe shoes and tie long hair back. A small blowtorch is used for the silver soldering process. You will be provided with protective goggles for this.
