We are a FREE Community Choir, welcoming all ages and levels of singing experience. All ages and experience levels welcome, no auditions, no judgement! We rehearse upstairs at The George, Wickham Market High Street, IP13 0RA

🎶 Spreading Joy Through Song! 🎶

We’re thrilled to share that the Wickham Market Community Choir will be singing at a care home in Kesgrave on Wednesday, 12th November.

It’s a special opportunity for us to bring music, smiles, and a little sparkle to the residents—and we couldn’t be more excited! Our eclectic mix of songs, from musical theatre to ABBA, is sure to lift spirits and spark memories.

We believe in the power of community and connection, and we hope our voices will bring warmth and joy to everyone listening.

Thank you to the care home for welcoming us—we can’t wait to sing for you!

Heyyyyyy! We are so looking forward to returning back in September to The George - Wickham Market upstairs in their activity room, as we are a community choir, they allow us to use that room free of charge, which is amazing of them to do so, the rest of the choir is funded by Wickham Market Parish Council Suffolk due it being recognised as a great way to meet new friends, combat loneliness, work on your physical and mental health and just have some fun with no barriers to you coming along to our free community choir. All welcome and encouraged to come along. There are also meet ups we have aside from rehearsal such as cafe trips and meals out.

📣 **Important Update – New Start Date!**

We were due to launch on 10th September but unfortunately that date no longer works. We’re excited to announce our new term start date:

🗓️ **Wednesday 17th September**

🕢 Arrive from 7.30pm, with a prompt start at 7.45pm - plenty of time to grab a drink first 😉

📍**The George, Wickham Market** – our new home is warm, welcoming, and fully accessible for those using mobility aids - we are upstairs in the activity room

🚗 Free parking is available nearby after 6pm in two car parks one on The Hill and one just off The Hill

We meet weekly during term time, blending music, laughter and connection — no auditions, no pressure, just harmony.

We can't wait to welcome you —

🎶 Exciting News from Wickham Market Community Choir! 🎶

We’ve moved! Our wonderfully inclusive, free community choir is now meeting at a new location:

📍 The George – Wickham Market

🕢 Arrive from 7.30pm for a prompt 7.45pm start

📅 Wednesdays, term-time only

We’re open to everyone of any ability – whether you belt it in the shower or sing in a choir already, come join the fun! Singing is proven to boost both mental and physical health, and we’d love to welcome some new faces in the new academic year!

🗓️ We’re kicking off again after our summer break on Wednesday 17th September at our new venue – The George. Let’s fill the room with music and joy!

🎉Choir starts back this week! 🎉

We’re a super friendly group with a range of musical experience. Choir is all about community and having fun together, with no pressure and no need to have sung before. There’s a lot of laughing together when we get it wrong and a lot of joy when we get it right! 🥳

Did you catch us at the Wickham Market Christmas Market? The weather was COLD 🥶 but the atmosphere was warm and friendly!
We have been enjoying a rest over Christmas, but can’t wait to be back to rehearsing next week.🎉
