Colleagues, another MKLitFest-related post, this time linked to Ukraine which is never out of the news. Something to stimulate you from the comfort of your own home. Frankly, it shouldnt be out of the news until fairly resolved.
On Tuesday (25th) at 7.00 we have a fascinating online conversation with successful British-Ukrainian novelist Anna Shevchenko talking about and reading from her book, Around the War in Twenty Stories. The writing, design and printing were all done under shelling and bombardment The event is by zoom and all profits go to Ukrainian charitable projects.
The writers contributing to this curated collection have decided to donate the proceeds towards: funding anti-mining equipment for farmers; buying medicine for the Childrens` Hospital in Lviv; delivering medicine to the front-line; a Children`s Library in Kherson; and a dog shelter in Irpin.
