Not every young person is into football so we've now opened our Young Creators Membership and 6-Week Premium 1-to-1 Programme.

If your child enjoyed recording, songwriting, DJing, music production or content creation, this gives them the opportunity to keep developing throughout the new term.

**WHAT AN ENCOURAGING AFTERNOON**

We were pleased to welcome Tim Johnson, Chief Executive of , to Beatsabar recently! 🎶🙌🏾

It was really a great opportunity to show Tim around our studios, share some of the work we’re doing with young people, artists and communities across Wolverhampton, and talk about our ambitions for the future.

We’re always proud to showcase what’s happening right here in our city and the role creative spaces like Beatsabar can play in creating opportunities and changing lives.

Real change happens when communities look out for one another. Since 1987, our neighbours at the African Caribbean Community Initiative - ACCI have been a safe haven, providing holistic mental health support for communities from the diaspora. Now, as the cost-of-living raises and funding has to be stretched further, they are campaigning for communities to come together for better mental health and to keep community mental health services where they belong - in the community!

To keep ACCI's doors open for many generations to come and protect our community assets, we need to take action together.

Which is why Beatsabar is proud to stand with ACCI.

A PROUD DAY FOR BEATSABAR! 💙🎶

Over 60 friends, family members and supporters joined us last Friday for our HAF Summer Holiday Music Showcase to celebrate what our young people have achieved this summer. 🙌🏾

Our children took to the stage to perform music they had created during the project, and we also premiered TWO original music videos – Improve My Mental and Healthy Habits 🎬🔥(to be released on YouTube at end of week)

Seeing their confidence, creativity and excitement made all the hard work worthwhile.

A massive thank you to our young people, parents, carers, staff and everyone who came out to support them.

A successful day and a brilliant way to celebrate our Healthy Living summer project! 👏🏾💙

We’re excited to announce that BEATSABAR MUSIC PROJECT C.I.C. has been selected as a FINALIST for Creative Space of the Year 2026 at the Creative Industry Awards. 🎉🎶

For over 12 years, Beatsabar has been more than just a recording studio. We’ve worked to create a space where young people, artists, musicians and our wider community can create, learn, develop and be heard.

This could be our 1st ever award so to have that work recognised in this way means a lot to our whole team.

But now WE NEED YOU!🙌🏾

🗳️ PUBLIC VOTING IS OPEN NOW!!

If Beatsabar has ever supported you, worked with your organisation, helped a young person you know, given you studio space, provided an opportunity, or you simply believe in what we're trying to build in Wolverhampton we would really appreciate your vote.

PUBLIC VOTING
The public vote will take place via the Creative Industry Awards website link https://lnkd.in/gtDNchJ9

Voting opens on 19th August at 4pm and closes on 31st August at 11:59 PM BST.

Once public voting has closed, the judging panel will submit their final scores. These scores will be combined with the public vote to determine the winner of each category.

Winners will be announced live at the Creative Industry Awards ceremony in October.
