We have been asked to speak about the RWT Choir taking part as finalists in the Midlands Choir of the Year at Lichfield Cathedral on Sunday 12th July 2026.
Karen and I are therefore going to be on BBC Radio WM,
this Sunday at approximately 1.15pm. Have a listen 🎶

We have successfully been selected for the Semi-finals of the Midlands Choir of the Year 2026

With huge thanks to ALL the choirs/groups who entered this year's Midlands Choir of the Year Competition (sponsored by the wonderful team at Rayburn Tours), we are delighted to announce that the following choirs/groups have been invited to sing in our semi-finals (in alphabetical order):

CONGRATULATIONS to all of our semi-finalists! And, our sincere thanks too to all those who entered and weren't successful this year: as always, we loved listening to your entries, and we hope to hear from you again in 2028.

We will announce our Finalists here in the w/c May 11th, and those choirs/groups will then join us for the MCOTY 2026 FINAL on Sunday July 12th 2026 in Lichfield Cathedral as part of the 2026 Lichfield Festival (tickets on General Sale from April 23rd).
